Week 2 Updates + EXCITING NEWS

Hi everyone —

Happy Friday! We are so grateful for all the incredible support and love for HOMESICK we’ve received. Our project has grown so much over the last week: 66% of our goal raised, almost ten thousand dollars, 139 new and old faces following our journey, and we are a Staff Pick from Seed&Spark meaning our film is becoming a favorite on a broader scale — all thanks to YOU. 

Michelle has also grown and gotten over her fear of social media and sending emails (mostly because Delani keeps threatening her) but it’s working! 

But we’re not done yet. Once we reach 70% of our crowdfunding goal, we’ll be able to share a HUGE UPDATE with you -- one we are giddy about since we’ve found out and know you will be, too. 

A special HINT for our supporters: We’re adding a really incredible team member to our project, someone you might recognize. And someone who embodies everything HOMESICK stands for: community, family, and honoring the people we love without leaving them, or ourselves, behind.
